Coworking company opening new space in Addison – Dallas Business Journal

Coworking firm Common Desk is bringing a new location to a recently minted Addison office park.

The company will open the 26,500 square-foot space next spring in Fourteen5, an office development located just off Dallas North Tollway north of Interstate 635.

Nick Clark, founder and CEO of the Dallas-based company, said it has received many requests over the years to bring a coworking space to the Addison area.

“Fourteen5 is a visionary project with a robust amenity set, and it provides the perfect space for our exciting entry into Addison,” Clark said in a prepared statement.

The office park, which was developed by Cawley Partners, offers a three-story building dedicated solely to amenities like a restaurant, Ascension Coffee, a fitness center and an outdoor terrace.

The coworking space will have a blend of private offices, shared and personal desks, meeting rooms and flexible lounge seating. It will also have game and cocktail lounges and will offer fitness classes for tenants, according to a release from the company.

“We’ve seen the caliber of space Common Desk delivers and the types of tenants this rapidly-growing coworking firm attracts,” said Jeremy Duggins, Cawley Partners’ project leasing manager, in a statement. “We have no doubt that a partnership with Common Desk is a perfect match for this Class-A building.

Common Desk launched in 2012 and has seven Dallas Fort-Worth locations either open or currently in the works.

A location in the renovated Trammell Crow Center in downtown Dallas and another in a historic warehouse in West End are set to open next year.
