The current proposal is designed in a “U” shape which will consist of 17 residential floors over a four story mixed-use pedestal, which will include 295 parking spaces and 288 bicycle spaces. Flexible office space will front 5th Street North on the first and second floors of the building. The developers note that the tower portion of the project has significant setback, as much as 120 feet on the 5th Street side, which will help it conform to the surrounding three to four story buildings.
The fifth floor will house the first residential units of the building along with a swimming pool and resident clubhouse. Floors 6 through 21 will feature 17 residential units per floor while the top of the building will feature a rooftop deck.
Total estimated construction costs are $63 million and the project is expected to go before the Development Review Commission on December 5th.
